Senegal keep their campaign alive
After losing their opener, Senegal needed to give their group campaign a different direction. Beating Qatar supplied their first points and left a direct contest with Ecuador for qualification. Qatar's first World Cup goal was a milestone, but a second defeat left the hosts without a point going into their final match.
