The Netherlands finish the group unbeaten
The Netherlands closed Group A with a clean-sheet victory and seven points, securing first place. For Qatar, a third defeat brought the hosts' campaign to an end without a point. The teams left the same match with entirely different horizons: a round-of-16 meeting with the United States for the Dutch and the end of the tournament for Qatar.
